경쾌한 스타일과 빠른 연주의 리드미컬한 곡조로 인기를 모은 이곡은 블론디의 데보라 해리가 옛남자친구와 헤어진후 스토킹당한것을 생각하면서 남자친구의 입장에서 곡을 쓴것이 특징이다.
팀동료이자 베이스연주자인 Nigel Harrison과 같이 만들었고 Stumblin' In 의 작곡자인 Mike Chapman이 프로듀싱한 곡으로 블론디를 대표하는곡인 Heart Of Glass와 같이 삽입되었고 그들의 최대명반인 parallel lines을 대표하는 곡이자 영국앨범챠트에서도 골드를 기록한 앨범이기도하다.

데보라 헤리와 크리스 스타인이 중심이 된 블론디는 1974년에 결성되어 Blondie라는 초기앨범을 내면서 활동을 시작한다.
여성보컬이 밴드의 중심이 된 특이한 형태의 블론디는 70년대말과 80년대초반 디스코기반의 뉴웨이브와 펑크록의 돌풍을 일으킨밴드이나 미국에서는 성공을 못한 언더그라운드 밴드들로 인식이 되고있다.
그렇지만 한국에서는 heart of glass와 call me 가 히트하여 나름대로의 성공을 거둔듯하고 이들의 달콤하고 뇌리에 남는 여운은 아직도 기억에 깊이 남아있는듯하다.
82년에 이들은 해체되었으나 99년에 데보라 헤리를 중심으로 재결합하여 No Exit 를 발표하면서 재기를 하였으나 세월앞에는 역부족인듯하다.
이곡은 74년에 데보라 헤리와 크리스 스타인이 다소느린 디스코풍의 Once I Had a Love라는 곡으로 데모버전의 곡을 발표했으나 그후 디스코열풍의 진원지인 비지스의 Stayin' Alive에 영향을 받은 빠른 디스코풍으로 개작되어 78년에 새버전으로 탄생하게되었다.
